Belle Meade (37205)

Belle Meade has traditionally been the address of Nashville’s high society (or those who want to be). This incorporated city marks Harding Road and Belle Meade Boulevard with its own equine street signs. With its own police department and City Hall, it has great government service amenities, but with that comes higher property taxes.

Belle Meade has many large estate homes, but also a few smaller residences from the 1930s and 1940s. It is home to the Warner Parks that have over 300 acres of walking and hiking trails, an equestrian track, sports fields, and a dog park. Belle Meade Boulevard is a popular street for walkers and runners, so much so that traffic is instructed to give pedestrians the inside lane of the road. Belle Meade also has a private golf course as part of the Belle Meade Country Club, the historic Belle Meade Plantation, and the Cheekwood Botanical Gardens and Museum of Art.
